I just received my placement information, and I'm really excited! Here are some highlights:

Vision – To help women fight poverty; to help widows use their IGA (Income Generating Activities) to help orphans
Mission – Faith group aims to put women/widows (single mothers) together, fight against poverty by using their own efforts, knowledge, economic and educational skills
Goals and Objectives
Fight against poverty through members and all the women nearby
Educate and support orphans who have single parents
Educate women in health education, reproductive health, TB, cancer, HIV/AIDS and how to prevent and how to cure
How to care for the sick ones in their family (HBC - Home Based Care)
Education on IGA, how to access capital
Improve on cookery, tailoring and decoration
To educate women on how to avoid AIDS for themselves and their family members
Educate the women on how to improve communication amongst themselves and how best to cooperate on common issues
